Hat Trick Farms - Flower Field
Admission Policies

Before purchasing your admission tickets, we would like to make sure you are aware of Hat Trick Farms admission policies and general information. Please read each policy to better understand how our farm operates. Please note the following Terms of Use below:

  • Refunds & Exchanges
All ticket sales are final. TICKETS ARE NONREFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERRABLE, RAIN OR SHINE. IN THE EVENT THAT THE FARM HAS TO CLOSE ON YOUR DATE, ALTERNATE DATES WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU.
  • Entry Times for Admission Tickets
Farm admission is only provided through pre-purchasing tickets online; no additional admission tickets can be purchased on farm. Your ticket reservation is only valid during the time block you select. Your selected time indicates your 30-minute arrival window. There is no limit to how long you can stay within operating hours. Online reservations are required to manage capacity limits and minimize bottlenecks for parking and at the entrance. Late arrivals will not be allowed onto the farm and will not be subject to refunds.
  • Adverse Weather Conditions
Our farm will close due to adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain or lightning. In the event of severe weather such as torrential rain or thunderstorms, tickets are subject to a refund. Hat Trick Farms will determine if cancellation is necessary and reach out to you via email letting you know if your tickets are being refunded due to severe weather. If Hat Trick Farms needs to close due to weather, Hat Trick Farms will make every effort to contact every patron via e-mail, time permitting.
  • Parking & Driving
Please follow the signage and park in the designated area. Do not park on the road or in any location that may block other traffic or farm equipment. Do not drive anywhere else on the farm besides the marked lane to the flower field parking area.
  • Bloom Guarantee
We grow 150 000 tulip bulbs that all bloom at different times throughout the season, which means our farm is never fully in bloom. Visitor are allowed to cut tulips for purchase while at the tulip field, which alters the blooms visible each day. Please remember we are a farm not a botanical garden and as such make no promise about the state of the blooms. We are typically in bloom from late April to mid-May.
  • Visiting our Retail Shop
Entry to the farm shop requires ticket admission. The farm shop is not open for public access outside of ticket admission. However, we do our best to have many of our products available online for curbside pick-up.
  • Appropriate Footwear
You will be viewing our spring flowers in a farm field, so we advise all visitors to wear appropriate footwear. Although we maintain our flower field, and driveways, we are a working farm and recommend that you come prepared for many different walking terrains. Examples of this include good walking shoes, running shoes or rain boots depending on the weather and state of our field.
  • Payment
Farm admission is only provided through pre-purchasing tickets online; no additional admission tickets can be purchased on farm. However, you can purchase cut flowers and additional items at our farm shop when you visit. Cash or credit card payments are accepted at the farm.
  • Washrooms
Limited washroom facilities will be available on site. One accessible port-a-john and hand wash station will be at the flower field.
  • Pets
No pets allowed with a general admission ticket, due to plant destruction and waste left behind.
  • Accessibility
All strollers, wagons and mobility devices are welcome. Please keep in mind that this is a working farm, so passengers in these devices may be in for a bumpy ride. Much of the flower field area has grass pathways.
  • Photography
Hand-held cameras only. No other photography equipment is permitted on farm with a general admission ticket. This means no tripods, flash, light shields, umbrellas, props, etc are permitted. Absolutely no drones are permitted.
  • Liabilities
While Hat Trick Farms regrets the inconvenience caused by unforeseen circumstances, Hat Trick Farms cannot be held responsible for any cost or damage such postponement or cancellation may incur. Similarly, Hat Trick Farms cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries, loss or damages incurred by patrons while visiting Hat Trick Farms. We are a working farm which means that there are a variety of farm terrains accessible to patrons such as gravel laneways, grass pathways, and farm fields. All patrons purchasing from Hat Trick Farms must do so in the light of the above limitations and terms of use conditions. Any individuals who do not follow the rules of the farm will be escorted off the property immediately.
